Hey everyone!
I’ve been seeing a lot of questions about setting up voice chat on Roblox, so I thought I’d create a detailed step-by-step guide to help everyone out. Here’s how to enable voice chat in Roblox:Step-by-Step Guide:
- Verify Age: Roblox requires users to be at least 13 years old for voice chat. You’ll need to verify your age in your account settings by submitting a photo ID and a selfie.
- Enable Voice Chat: Go to Settings > Privacy, and toggle on the voice chat option. If the option isn’t there, make sure your app is updated and try again.
- Testing Voice Chat: Join any game that supports voice chat to test it. If it’s working, you should see a small microphone icon next to your avatar.
Let me know if anyone has questions or runs into any issues. Happy chatting!

October 29, 2024 at 8:25 am #1827Scofield RichardKeymasterGood question! Yes, Roblox has filters to prevent inappropriate language and also uses voice moderation. However, it’s always good to use respectful language to keep it enjoyable for everyone.
